    Can I purchase a Gift Card online?
    Yes. You may purchase a Gift Card online from MacArthur Center's website. Click on the "Gift Card" link on the home page and read the instructions on how to order a Gift Card online.

    Where can I purchase gift cards?
    Taubman Mall Gift Cards are available for purchase in denominations from $20 to $300. The purchase fee is $2.50 per card and the cards may be used at any participating store at any Taubman mall. American Express Gift Cards are available in denominations of $25, $50 and $100 with service fees of $4, $5 and $6 respectively and can be used at virtually any business that accepts American Express. You may purchase gift cards at Customer Service Center located in Center Court during mall hours. MacArthur Center accepts cash or credit cards only, no personal checks.

    Corporate Gift Cards can be purchased at the Mall Management Office, located on Level 3, Food Court area, Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. Same fees apply to corporate orders.

    Does Customer Service or any of the stores validate parking?
    No. However, if you watch a movie at our movie theater, Regal Cinemas, & show your ticket stub at the movie ticket counter, Regal will validate your parking ticket for $.50 for the initial 3 hours only. Regular parking rates apply after 3 hours. If you have any parking questions or issues, please call the MacArthur Central Parking System at (757) 314-4421.

    Who is the artist that designed the sculptures in MacArthur Center?
    MacArthur Center showcases three prominent sculptural works.

    The Bugling Cherub. Perched on a weathervane atop MacArthur's main entrance on Monticello Avenue sits a gold-leafed, copper cherub. A replica of an 1883 sculpture of the archangel Gabriel, the 35-pound sprite measures five-feet long and was handmade by J.K. Lynch and sons of Wilton, Conn.

    Canada Geese. The section of Grand Court near the Lobby Lounge becomes a landing pad for five life-sized bronze Canada Geese depicted in a 700-pound, 15 sculpture by David Turner, an Eastern Shores, Va., sculptor.

    Blue Herons. Opposite the geese in Grand Court near the Cappuccino Court sits a complementary 15 foot, 500 pound bronze Turner sculpture of three life-sized great blue hrons perched on a limb surrounded by cattails.

    Where is the Lost and Found?
    Please report any lost or found item to Customer Service Center representatives or to the Public Safety officers. Lost and Found items are held in the Public Safety office, located on the 3rd level. The phone number for the Public Safety office is (757) 640-0900.

    Who do I contact if I have a parking issue?
    For customer service issues related to parking, please contact MacArthur Central Parking at (757) 314-4421. For monthly/debit card parking issues, contact the City of Norfolk Parking Services at (757) 441-2561.

    What are your parking rates?
    *Note: The parking garages at MacArthur Center are owned by the City of Norfolk and managed by MacArthur Center.

    Monday through Friday Rates


    • For first 3 hours before 6 p.m.: $1.00

    • After your first 3 hours, every hour after that, before 6 p.m.: $2.00

    • After 6 p.m., there is a flat rate charge of $2.00.

    • Maximum $10.00 for the entire day.


    Saturday and Sunday Rates

    • Before 6 p.m.: $1.00

    • After 6 p.m.: $2.00

    • Maximum $3.00 charge.


    On Special Event Days with a $5.00 or more purchase, a Center merchant will be able to stamp your ticket which will allow you to pay our regular rate, opposed to the special event rate that the other city parking garages are charging. Special Event Parking will be posted at each MacArthur Center garage entrance.

    Valet parking is also available at the Monticello entrance. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 9 AM to midnight and Sunday 11 AM to midnight. Cost $5.

    What is the difference between the North and South Deck parking garage?
    South Deck: All signage and ticket booths are RED. Garage entrances are off of City Hall Avenue and Cumberland Street. RV parking is available in the South Deck garage.

    North Deck: All signage and ticket booths are BLUE. Garage entrances are off of Market Street.

    Height restriction for vehicles in both garages is 7 feet.

    toddler combo available for no charge at the Customer Service Center in Center Court.

    Where are your restrooms?
    Our public restrooms are located on Level 1, Center Court, near Kay Jewelers and Papyrus and Level 3, Food Court area, around the corner from Steak Escape. Both have adjacent Family restrooms.

    All have 35 inch wide doors that remain open, accessible stalls are 37 inches wide with handrails, 19 inch toilet seat height, 11 inches between commode and walls. Each has an intercom direct to Public Safety, available 24/7.
