How much does it cost to skate?
Admission is $6 for skating and the skate rental fee is $5. Military personnel and their families receive a $2 discount on admission (must show valid military ID). Additional information on discounted group pricing available. Admission price is for two hours.

What size skates do you rent?
Child size 9 up to adult size 14 are available. We also have double runners for toddlers.

Can I bring my own skates?
Of course.

Can I use a MacArthur Center gift card at the ice skating rink?
Unfortunately, we do not accept MacArthur Center gift card at the rink.

What time is the ice skating rink open?
View our calendar for hours of operation.

Can I have my child's birthday party at the ice skating rink?
Yes, we have birthday party packages available through Ice Rink Events at a base price of $129.  The price does not include skating.

How do I make a group reservation?
Email us to make a group (15 or more people) reservation.

Interested in catering for your party or group?
Catering is available from the Rinkside Cafe.

Can I rent the ice skating rink?
Yes, please email us.

Where should I park? How much does it cost to park?
Visit our Parking page for more information on directions, parking, and parking rates.

Do you validate parking?
Unfortunately, we are not able to validate or reduce the parking rates. The garages are owned by the City of Norfolk.

How large is the ice skating rink?
The ice skating rink is 7,200 square feet. Our Kiddie Rink is 14 x 12 and will accommodate between 10 and 12 toddlers in their double runners.

Do you offer skating lessons?
Yes, we offer learn to skate lessons on Saturday mornings.

Is there an area to sit if I don't want to skate?
Yes, we have two sets of bleachers for those who would rather watch than skate.

Is food available for purchase?
Yes, please visit the Rinkside Cafe.

Does the Adult Supervision Program apply to MacArthur On Ice?
No. Guests of all ages are welcome to enjoy Mac on Ice anytime during its operating hours.

Are there any discounts for skating?
Yes, Cheap Skate Mondays, College Skate Tuesdays and group prices.
