How much does it cost to skate?
Admission is $7 per person. Military personnel and their families can skate for $5 per person (must show valid military ID). Group of 10 or more: $5 per person. Admission price is for 2 hours of skating and includes skate rental.

What size skates do you rent?
We carry adult sizes up to 16. We also have double runners for toddlers.

Can I bring my own skates?
Of course.

Can I buy skate passes for a gift?

Can I use a MacArthur Center gift card at the ice skating rink?
Unfortunately, we do not accept the gift cards at the rink.

Do you offer any packages at MacArthur On Ice?
Yes, our Romance package includes a 15 minute private skate on the ice to songs of your choosing, champagne and dessert at Kincaids, a keepsake frame from Things Remembered, and a box of chocolates from Godiva. The cost is $50, please call (757) 627-6502 to reserve.

Can I have my child's birthday party at the ice skating rink?

Do you validate parking?
Unfortunately, we are not able to validate or reduce the parking rates. The garages are owned by the City of Norfolk.

How large is the ice skating rink?
The ice skating rink is 7,200 square feet.

Do you offer skating lessons?
Yes, we offer free learn to skate lessons on Saturday mornings. Click here for more information.

How long are the skating sessions?
The skating sessions are approximately 2 hours each. Click here to see the schedule.

Is there an area to sit if I don't want to skate?
Yes, we have two sets of bleachers for those who would rather watch than skate.

Is food available for purchase?
Yes, we have an onsite concession stand with a variety of drinks and snacks.

Also available at the concession trailer: gloves, children's socks, adult socks, single-use cameras, sweatshirts, and knit hats.
