MacArthur Center was designed with shoppers' needs in mind. To simplify shopping and make it fun, we've added a host of customer-friendly amenities, including:

Guest Services

Provides complimentary wheelchairs, strollers and store directories. Customers may also use the fax and copy services for a fee. Located on Level One in Center Court.

Foreign Currency Exchange

Located at Guest Services,  Level One. In addition to trading in over 80 different foreign currencies, the currency exchange teller will offer 20 different currencies for immediate purchase. Virginia Lottery 

Located at Guest Services, Level One. Play The Virginia Lottery's Draw Games as well as $1 to $30 Scratchers. Cash only accepted at this location.

Children's Play Area

The children's play area is a 2600-square-foot play area located adjacent to the Food Court on Level Three. The innovative play area is designed for kids to enjoy larger-than-life, three-dimensional Looney Tunes' favorites, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Road Runner, and Marvin the Martian. Maximum height for children is 42 inches.

The Play Area will be closed Monday-Saturday between 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM and between 6:30 PM – 7:00PM for a daily “refresh” for our guests. This cleaning process should take 30 minutes to complete. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Live 360° Lounge

Take a break from shopping and relax in our cozy lounge where you can watch your favorite game on ESPN, get some great home decorating ideas from HGTV or watch your child's favorite cartoon on one of three 55" TVs. Thirsty?  Grab your favorite drink from a Coca-Cola machine.  The lounge is located on level one near Dillard’s and open all mall hours.

Live 360° Studio

Visit our 3,000-square-foot studio that features a children’s area with coloring tables, books and a 16-foot long chalkboard, Norfolk Public Library sponsored book nook with a variety of reading materials for customers to relax in comfortable seating including Magis Spun chairs and Norfolk Public Schools Art Education monthly rotating exhibit featuring artwork by Norfolk Public School students K-12. The studio is also home to a variety of classes, programs and performances. For current Studio events, go to


Located on Level One near Center Court and Level Three in the Food Court.  They include spacious, private Family Restrooms with child-sized toilets and sinks where parents can feel comfortable assisting children of either sex.

Valet Parking

Located at Monticello Avenue entrance.  Available for only $6 and operates from 7:30 AM to 11:00 PM Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM until 11:00 PM on Saturday, and 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM on Sunday.

Bike racks are conveniently located throughout the parking decks.  Please lock up your bike at one of the following locations:

Shopping Line

Our shopping line (757) 627-6000 is your 24-hour a day source for shopping information. The menu options offer you direct connect to stores or offices in the center, hours and directions, jobs, and special events.

Helping Hosts Program

Provides a one-on-one shopping companion for up to 2 hours for customers who have difficulty shopping alone due to physical, developmental and visual limitations. The complimentary service is available every Monday through Thursday during regular center hours. Appointments must be made at least 48 hours in advance by calling (757) 622-0500 or TDD (757) 627-2711.

Do you have wheelchairs?

Yes. We have motorized carts and wheelchairs available for no charge at Guest Services in Center Court on Level One

Where is the Lost and Found?

Please report any lost or found item to the Guest Services representatives or to Public Safety officers.  Lost and Found items are held in the Public Safety office, located on Level Three. The phone number for the Public Safety office is (757) 640-0900.

Do you have strollers?

Yes. We have single toddler, single infant, infant toddler combo and double toddler combo available for no charge at the Guest Services Desk in Center Court on Level One.

Where are your restrooms?

Our public restrooms are located on Level One, Center Court, near Kay Jewelers and Papyrus and Level Three, Food Court area, around the corner from Charley's Grilled Subs. Both have adjacent Family restrooms.

All have 35 inch wide doors that remain open, accessible stalls are 37 inches wide with handrails, 19 inch toilet seat height, 11 inches between commode and walls.   Each restroom has an intercom direct to Public Safety, available 24/7.

Does Guest Services or any of the stores validate parking?

No. However, if you watch a movie at our movie theater, Regal Cinemas, and show your ticket stub at the movie ticket counter, Regal will validate your parking ticket for $.50 for the initial 3 hours only. Regular parking rates apply after 3 hours. If you have any parking questions or issues, please call MacArthur Center Parking at (757) 314- 4421.

Who is the artist that designed the sculptures in MacArthur Center?

MacArthur Center showcases three prominent sculptural works.

The Bugling Cherub. Perched on a weathervane atop MacArthur's main entrance on Monticello Avenue sits a gold­ leafed, copper cherub. A replica of an 1883 sculpture of the archangel Gabriel, the 35-pound sprite measure five­ feet long and was handmade by J.K. Lynch and sons of Wilton, Connecticut.

Canada Geese. The section of Grand Court near the Lobby Lounge becomes a landing pad for five life-sized bronze Canada Geese depicted in a 700-pound , 15 foot sculpture by David Turner, an Eastern Shores,Virginia sculptor.

Blue Herons. Opposite the geese in Grand Court near the Cappuccino Court sits a complementary 15 foot, 500-pound bronze Turner sculpture of three life-sized great blue herons perched on a limb surrounded by cattails.

Who designed the water fountain located in the Grand Court?

Animals are prohibited except service animals such as Leader Dogs.

What is the MacArthur Center Youth Supervision Program?

The Youth Supervision Policy at MacArthur Center requires that individuals under the age of 18 visiting MacArthur Center after 5:00 p.m. be accompanied by a responsible adult 21 years of age or older. You can find information about the Rules of Conduct and Youth Supervision Program on our website or by visiting Guest Services.​

MacArthur Center has free Wi-Fi throughout the shopping center.
